Larry,

I have got rc2 up and running with the MPEG HW decoder. I was wrong about the driver not working with PAL, I was using the wrong XF86Config.

The picture does seem to be a bit unstable, so maybe I need to do some optimisation on the backend system. I think i read something that you wrote about reducing the picture size on your capture card. How did you do this ?

Thanks for the good work on this release, let me know if you need anymore testing.

If you have not noticed already. There is a mistake in the /.xinitrc file. It should read fvwm2 & not fvmw2 &

I actually don't think a window manager is required but I thought I would try it to see if it helped a different problem I was having; now I know why it didn't work :oops:

I'll take care of it in the next release.
