There was a problem with the initial version rolled into the VDPAU patch. It's all sorted now, and Jean-Yves has put up a new version

How do I reconfigure lirc ?
I did not see the actual sources anywhere and I quess the patches would do some damage anyway. But I would just like to manually configure and compile lirc to only support my remote (not stabile with mplay remote as is).

What would be the best way ?

The sources are download when you run 'make garchive' or when you build the system.

You would want to modify 'script/system/lirc/Makefile' so the CONFIGURE_ARGS has the arguments that you want when building lirc.
